- 2–4 years of experience designing user interfaces for web or enterprise applications.
- Experience designing for technical or semi-technical users.
- Portfolio demonstrating core UX skills including research participation, ideation, wireframes, prototyping, and delivered designs (mandatory).
- Experience conducting or supporting user research and translating findings into design improvements.
- Proficiency in modern UX and prototyping tools (Figma required; familiarity with tools like Mural, Dovetail, or usability testing platforms is a plus).
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams with engineers and product managers.
- Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, usability, and accessibility fundamentals.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly.
Demonstrated ownership of tasks and ability to deliver with guidance and feedback.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Exposure to enterprise products or complex problem domains.
- Exposure to content design.
- Familiarity with design systems and using component libraries effectively.
- Basic understanding of analytics or data-informed design decisions.
- Alignment with IBM Design Principles and an interest in inclusive, human-centred design.
